As everyone knows New York Fashion Week is a must attend event not only because of all the celebrity appearances, but for the unforgettable shoes hitting that runway. Here are some of the highlights of New York Fashion Week Fall 2017 that I noticed while following the hottest scoops.
Who could forget the Tome’s show? With themes of Women’s March on Washington and references to Guerrilla Girls, an all women’s art coalition, this show made a strong statement. Not only did we see models of amazing diversity in age, ethnicity, and body types, but the shoes were amazing!
Such a lovely velvet platform wedge... I’m getting some 70’s vibes here!
And continuing on a velvet theme, Amy Smilovic’s sharp demi-pumps in crinkled velvet were impossible to ignore. They made such a statement I’m still thinking about them on a daily basis.
Like these shoes make this entire look work am I right?
And strutting around NYC in February comes with its challenges of cold weather! With snow and ice covering the streets I found this pair of fabulous Chiara Ferragni glitter moon boots. What a way to embrace the chill and keep a groove...
These might be the cutest things I’ve ever seen!
Both on and off the catwalk, the fashion statements were as bold as ever in NYC for this years NYFW! Can’t wait to talk about London!
